Lord Mayor’s Fantastic Gold State Coach - Unique Beauty

Those of you who’ve love for antique pieces, this Lord Mayor’s Coach is what you will surely drool over. The coach was built in 1957 and was pulled by horses. This unique antique piece’s total worth is incalculable and it is insured for a mammoth £1.6 million. Even queen is conveyed in one of a more modern copy of this cheeky little classic which is the oldest ceremonial vehicle still in regular use. 

Built to flaunt the growing power of Georgian empire, the magnificent piece was commissioned by 37 aldermen who contributed a then hefty £60 each. The vehicle was the center of attraction at the Museum of London on 13th November. The Lord Mayor’s Coach was built in 1757 and took six months to complete at a total cost of £860 and its suspension has gone major modernization before it was put on display. The coach is one of the Museum’s most memorable exhibits and is in pursuit to find a place in world heritage site.
