The Gestics hand movement translator is a concept of a student who designs it to aid the deaf-mute person in adjusting to hear the world in the person of Luise Pescheck. This was created by Pescheck as a semester project at the University of Applied Science. This will be use by wearing the wristband style device that will recognize the sign language and then convert it into spoken words for everyone to hear the wearer. With the used of forearm sensors as the primary data, the sounds will then be generated with the translator for an effective and understandable conversation. This technology will form the basis of the concept that is looking forward to create a portable, easily accessible and adaptable device that uses video, display, or even text base applications in order to communicate. Although the concept is still new and is developing it will give the idea of letting the disabled people know that they are part of the society. This is not where the intentions of the designer to have more improvement on this device.
